First of all, I want to say thank you for visiting my website! My name is Matthew Angelo and I am the owner of Flux Photography Studios in Fort Collins, Colorado. I got started in photography as an amateur fairly early. I loved carrying a camera around, and if my parents would have allowed me the use of a camera and could afford it, I would have started as a kid. I am self-taught with some schooling at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I started professionally in 2005. I decided to pursue it professionally because I loved taking pictures and what better career to have, then to do something I loved. I also started the Defy the Hate Photo-Activism campaign, which uses photography to raise awareness on the issues of bullying and hate. To me photography is not just capturing a moment in time. It is creating a story. Now don’t get me wrong, I love photographing models, brides, and doing family portraits, but it is also about the art. Photography has given me an outlet for my creativity. I can explore different avenues of light, shadow, and exposure. I can explore the dimensions of digital art. I can stage shoots that inspire ideas or invoke emotions. Every image I take, whether it is a person or a landscape is art. Each image is a reflection of me. When someone sees my work, I want them to say, “That was done my Matthew Angelo,” or, “I am getting my photography done by Flux Photography Studios.” Everyone should expect something different from me. Something that shows their images are different than others, yet still retains my imprint on the image. Even though I had some schooling at the Art Institute, it was having a huge effect on my work. It was keeping me from my work. So here I am, a photographer, an artist, forging my own path through the competitive field of photography. I can do no less. It is who I am. So here I am, carrying my camera with me everywhere I go, on a photographic journey. Where will I end up? Who knows. I can guarantee that I will get some amazing images!

Hi! Thank you for visiting the website! My name is Amber Anderson and I am the owner of Penny Lane Photography. The female side of Penny Lane and Flux Photography Studios. I have been doing photography since my Freshman yeah of High School, and before that I always had a disposable camera on me so I would never look past an opportunity to capture beauty. Photography is something I am so passionate about. I feel like it shows my true colors. What I like about photography is that every image is a memory. You can recall that event as it was and without the wonder. I love that when I take a photograph life stands still. To me that is a beautiful thing; especially in today’s world everything is so fast paced. People forget to stop and see the beauty that surrounds them. That is what I am here for, to capture that beauty and give it to them to remind them that life is an incredible thing.

I focus mainly on portraiture. I love working with models and people of all shapes and sizes. I am trying my hand in landscape photography and find a calming nature to it. The world is a wonderful place. I like to keep my photography simple, but with an edge. I want people to see one of my photographs and know who took the image and so far I have been able to show the world who I am through my images.

I am an advocate for a “Love Yourself” campaign. The campaign was brought to my attention by a girl who follows me on facebook. She asked me to be apart of this campaign she wants to start and she believed that since I am somewhat of a motivational speaker that I could bring attention to this campaign. It was for men and women of any age and any shape and size. She asked me to write the phrase “Love Yourself” on the palm of my hand and take a picture showing my body. Just me, a camera, some sharpie on my palm, and my underwear. Showing the power and beauty of every person. I thought this was a wonderful idea! I firmly believe that everyone is beautiful and everyone should love themselves no matter what. You are who you are and that is who you are supposed to be.
